Park City Area Hotels/Inns

Can anyone recommend any hotels or inns in the Park City area for a March trip? It's for me and my husband, late 20s. The Washington School Inn looks pretty good -- has anyone stayed there? Stein Eriksen and Goldener Hirsch both look incredible, but sadly are way too expensive. Thanks for your help!

I can tell you where NOT to stay. The Prospector Square Lodge. That whole area is too far away from the resorts and you wait much longer for shuttles than you will from other places in Park City closer to Park Ave.

We are staying at the Treasure Mountain Inn right on Main St. in Feb. 2006. We have friends that stay there each year and have nothing but good things to say, but I can't report first hand. I've read good things about the Washington School Inn on tripadvisor also.

Have Fun!

Washington School Inn has a great location in that it's one street over from Main Street and just a block or two up from the Town Lift at Park City Mtn Resort. I haven't stayed there, but I have been in it a few times and the staff was pleasant and the common areas were quite nice.
TMI is a good option as well, but as it's a few blocks further up Main St it's probably not within walking distance of the Town Lift as Washington School Inn is.

You may also want to take a look at the Woodside B&B. Woodside isa very cozy place. sorry I don't have the phone number. It is close to The base of Park City Mountain Resort and about 3/4 miles from Main St every close to the free bus stop.

Well even if you don't stay at the Goldener Hirsch be sure to stop in there for apre ski. They have a beer there called Steigle (spelling) that is one of the best you will ever have. People from out of state complain about the the low alcohol content in the beer - well I'm here to tell ya 2 of these and you are right where you need to be! Steigle is an Austrian Brew the likes of which you will not find anywhere else in Utah for sure. The downside: $8 bucks a bottle but they are 20 oz. If your lucky when you are there the GH will have a guy playing accordian and yodeling. Very Euorpean!

A very good place for the Bears to meet up after skiing this February!

I found the Marriott a pretty nice ski-in/ski-out solution.
