Heh, I went down to the local ski shop to get boots and custom insoles and I ended up getting both boots/insoles and skis.

There was a pair of last years demos (used for 2 days at a local resort) of Volkl Vertigo G3's with bingins (salomon s810s) for $409. They are in the shape skis would be in if i used them for a day or 2 out west, which is quite pleasing.

I was so glad.

Any thoughts? Is that price good?

Thanks for all your help the last few months guys! I really appreciate it.

price seems good. I paid less than 450 for my carver motions off of ebay

Considering you know who you bought them from that is a great price. They've been asking $500 for demo skis around here and they're really beat up.

Great, enjoy 'em!

Working on it.

This purchase was a minor setback at the least.

I have 2 hurdles: money, and parents because they pay for my college they don't want me missing class...so i have to work something out with them.

I do have a buddy who's all about going, so we'll see.
