In my FWD Honda, this is really how i drive, I routenily break speed limits just to keep Forward Momentum there(cops dont patrol during snowstorms
), take everything sideway and with throttle, use the ebrake for tight stuf, and generally scare the hell out of my passengers. I dont get stuck or slowed down by this stuff so screw laws. Also i read the comment about braking in the middle of a turn you shouldnt do this anytime of year not just winter. Generally think about being smooth with you inputs but be mindfull of weight transfer and slower is not always better. Throttle in a FrontWD or AWD will keep you out of trouble(spins) by transfering weight to the rear tires thus giving them more grip.
Please take this with this knowledge though, I am a driving instructor at Beaverun, and without the proper training you are asking for trouble.
Josh who loves driving in the snow as much as he loves playing on it
