Most days you've skied in one season?

Just curious to see the max number of days people have skied in one season, at what age while doing what? I was 24 living in Steamboat, ski bumming and tending bar nights. My personal best was 118 ski days which were mostly at Steamboat but mixed in a few others that year at Mary Jane, A-Basin, Snowbird, Alta and Jackson. Totalled just over 300 days over the three years at "The Boat".

Gotta tell 'ya, lots of instructors and patrollers (including N & S hemishpere workers) on this site, 118 won't even be close.

125 days the winter of 1973-74. I started skiing the first weekend of November at Mt. Bachelor and skied mainly at Mt Ashland until mid May when they closed the mountain down due to lack of interest. Most of the days were skiing heavy powder on long, skinny skis.....glad I was young with strong legs.

First year I taught full-time I skied 118 days here in Michigan and another 20 at various places out west. I've averaged about 100 annually in the 35 years since then. Last season was 120, 115 here and five at Snowmass.

76 last season even though I broke my arm in mid-March.

I put in 135 days between resorts several backcountry trips to Tuckerman's my freshman year of college. My first freshman year, that is! Getting technical, I'll add another 5 days in July of that year @ camp out at Whistler for a grand total of 140 days.

Of course, my parents nearly disowned me after that performance...I've averaged 65-70 days since!

most so far was 110 back in 03-04. Not even close to the top I am sure, but it remember I work in PA.

My first year as a full time Instructor at Jay Peak, VT 1986-87 I logged 138 days on snow. Including PSIA events and NYCDSC Race Days at several other mountains around the Northeast.

152, all in NA.

100 days on the button last year. Doubled my previous high. Not all in NA, not all in winter, but I am very happy, considering the amount of time I spend at work... I hope I can repeat this year!

Never counted, but I figure easily 125 while instructing years ago, and an additional 25 in the BC. Probably did that for close to ten years in a row. Now, I get probably 75+ (In bounds & BC), stretching from Oct/Nov to July.

How about adding a caveat that doesn't include instructors or ski patrol? Beacause really, how much actual skiing is done on a given day by instructors?

My best season was 130 days, at 11 Colorado resorts, all lift served working nights delivering pizza. Now I avg. 50 days per season.

Why leave out patrollers? I did alot of skiing as a full-time patroller, like before bell to after bell, every single day.

150'ish is my best season.

70 in an Oz season (very short)..... & still a working gal.... (not snow work)

You guys need to change that to a year - not a season.... the guys that do both seasons each year get high 200's from memory
