There is a thread here on how to change the position.
The Neox bindings actually allow you to choose a variety of positions which result in changes of 1/2 cm increments.
Moving the binding from the central to forward position results in moving the binding 1 cm forward. Moving it halfway from central to forward equals a 1/2 cm forward move.
I've had the Atomic bindings on 3 different skis (R11, M11 and Izor 9:7). Here's my feeling as to the choices in binding position:
Central: Didn't like.
1/2 cm forward: Very good all around.
1 cm forward: Very quick turns but not quite as stable at high speeds.
Experimenting is the best way to go. Get yourself a really good screwdriver for the binding screw (I got mine at Home Depot) and ski several runs on the same slopes with different settings, then choose.
