Anyone Hear of SIDAS footbeds?

A fitter in CO uses these beds. www.sidas.com Any thoughts?

I have a pair right now. The produce some of the best product out there. They are slightly more loabor intensive, depending on which bed is uesd, and also requrie more skill to make. Some of the advantages I have noticed is that the fitter is able to make weighted, semi-weighted, and un-weighted footbeds. The have better definition than instaprint, superfeet, amfit, or even surefoot, when they are used with the HD-vac (the inprint machine). If the place is reputable I would get them.

Would the "fitter" be Lee Kinney at The Custom Foot? He uses the Sidas system and is one of the better footbed makers around.

They are mostly known as conformable, I had a standard pair then a heavily reinforced pair but the just didn't offer the support I wanted. Finally got a set of cork footbeds and never looked back. They were a HUGE improvement from the conformables.

I have a pair of custom sidas footbeds too and I swear by them. I had a cork pair made in Vermont before that was nice and wicked expensive. Did a great job and all but nothing more than my sidas do and the sidas are way cheaper.
Easy process and really are comfortable; absorb impact shock and vibrations beautifully as well !

Sidas (Com'formable) make foam inners, too. Surefoot used those to make my foams, years ago.

much thanks to all. Noodler, the fitter is Kenny Friedman, AkA, Kenny's Double Diamond. He sold the company (divorce) and now fits boots exclusively.

They still have the Sidas machine in the Double Diamond shop. I think it was Mike Cooper I spoke with there. He said that they mostly use the Superfeet full cork and only rarely make the Conform'able footbeds when the skier needs more work in the forefoot.

Kenny works out of Gorsuch at the Beav' as a contractor. I had him fit my boots last season and I'm having him build the beds this season. he is using the Conformables now. Did you need his #? PM is so.

Phil- go buy ANOTHER pair of skis

I use the Sidas "Con'formable" machine with my own "special" makeup
of orthotic material and the results speak for themselves! All footbed system are technician sensitive......, the end product has to be skier and ski boot "friendly".

anyone know where I can get a set molded? I have the footbeds, I just need them fitted.

This will be my 3rd season in the Conformable' Custom Pro non-posted bed.

Can you elaborate further on the non-posted part? What are your opinions of them overall?
