Impromtu MSR/Epic Clinic
We had a meeting of the bears at Loveland
To be toally honest (which you all know is not my nature) one could of knocked me over with a feather as each Bear showed up at the Loveland cafeteria. We were encouraged by all to run briefly through our level 1 progression and it seems, at least from what we've captured digitally, that all got something out of it. Rick "FastMan" was the head coach and I was the color commentator. Good job Rick!!
Dr. Liz and I were tickled pink by how outgoing and nice everyone was. What a warm and genuine group of people. Bears Rule!
As you can see we had a pretty good group on Friday. We woke up Saturday morning to something missed in the forecast - SNOW. Not just a little but 6 - 12 Inches just about everywhere and it was still blowing and snowing by the time we made it out of the Eisenhower tunnel. As a matter of fact, coming out of the tunnel we couldn't even see the exit, we got there by brail.
Then, just as surprising JASP showed up as did Bong. We all went out in the sub 20 degree blowing blizzard and had a blast for a couple of hours. Liz and I were the only two on our race GS skis - smart, very smart
We do have some action photos that we will get up a little later should the participants give us their permission.
I can see more Epic gatherings in the future as we travel around the country
Regards to all
