While there is some variation between different pairs, I think it's safe to say that the Rossignol 9x will be much, much more forgiving. Not to say it's less of a ski, it's just a very different animal and certain skiers flock to it like certain skiers flock to the Fischer GS. I own both the '03 9x and the '04 WC GS in race stock form, and they are similar only in radius. The Rossi asks for good technique, the Fischer demands it. I would say the Fischer has better ice hold for the right skier, but they can dump you in a second if your mind wanders. Believe me, I've been dumped by them a lot- all deserved.
