well, its the time of year to get in my pro-form requests in for 05/06.

current quiver-
05 rossignol 9S oversize 165 used for instructor training and levels etc
05 rossignol B3 178 used to free ski in softer snow and hucking
04 Elan M12 168 used as batted teaching planks for low end lessons/ rocks

I am tossing up if I should get either a Rossignol Z9 in 170 or Head XRC 1400 Chip in 170 to replace the Rossignol 9S

I am 22 years old 5'10" 180 pounds with modern technique with no racing background.
Working in Whistler

I bought the Rossignol 9S last year to train and get my CSIA LIII. This year I won't be training so hard. I would like a ski that is better than the 9S in older snow, skied out bowels and crud but can still excel in short turns, bumps and big turns etc.

I am limited to Head, Rossignol, Salomon and K2

what do you guys think?
