Last year went off so big, we were already skiing in deep fluff at this time. Snow is showing on the Kirkwood webcam as well http://www.kirkwood.com/winter/webcam.html

It takes a LOT of coverage to make it happen. Lets hope for some storm progress.

Mmmmm, Mammoth. Awesome terrain. Killer dumps. Shogun Sushi. Mmmm, Shogun Sushi is awesome. I wanna go.

this right ? you got snow at mammoth already ? didnt see no storm go near there ? (gotta stop those beer an inning games w/ the baseball playoffs and check weather.com more.)

I'm beginning to believe the prospects of being able to ski at Mammoth right after Thanksgiving when I am going to LA for a meeting are beginning to look decent.

Nov 10th top of the Gondy? Hmmm... probably more like top of chair 1. This morning is 40 degrees in town at 7:30. They still have not made any snow, and the temps look so-so coming up.

running
deals for early season - check this out......

* Mammoth - First to Open for 2005/06

Value Season ticket prices - adult (19-64) $56, youth (13-18) $42, child
(7-12) $28 and senior (65-79) $28. Prices effective 11/10-22/05.

Mammoth Gold Pass - adult $1,300, youth $975, child $650 and senior $650 -
no restrictions. Good at June Mountain, too.

Mammoth Mid-week Pass - adult $575, youth $435, child $290 and senior $290.
Good Mon.-Fri. with some blackout dates during holidays - good at June
Mountain. Only on sale until 12/15/05.

Multi-day tickets - They have a number of combinations so check the website.
Best deal is a 5 day, Mon.- Fri., off-peak ticket that works out to only
$49 per day!! Adults are $244, youth $183, child $122 and seniors $122. These
tickets are also good at June Mountain.

First Tracks Lodging Deal - Prices start at $82 per person per night/double
occ. from 11/9-21/05 or from $92 per person per night/double occ. from
