Actually hasn't been too bad the past few days-does get a little crowded and when the "bullets" start to overwhelm the trail its adios time. Wednesday will be day 3!

Definitley need this storm to roll in and drop temps-looks like a while before Spillway will open adding a second trail. They might be able to open the upper section by Friday but still a lot of trees showing on the lower section.
The "white ribbon of death" strikes again. Sorry to see anyone go down early season. Get back soon for the real season, and remember to fall on your butt next time.

No Way!

Tsavo,

That stinks, sorry to hear it. I hope it's not as bad as the last one and you can get back quickly for the prime season.

Heal quickly

Just an update- ac seperation in the left shoulder grade 3/4. Right now it hurts more than the torn rotator cuff! The doctor says Heli-skiing in 6 weeks shouldn't be a problem! Just got released a couple of weeks ago for surgery on the right shoulder so I hope he is right! Katy

Heal fast Katie! I guess it's back to Christie the Killer!

You have the worst luck...

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Here's hoping you heal quickly.

(With any luck, you'll end up with a trick shoulder like Mel Gibson in those Lethal Weapon movies; you'll be able to save the day in some freak heli-skiing catastrophe).

So sorry! Heal quickly and get back out there kickin' everybody's butts as soon as you're ready, Tsavo!

Okay, nix the many happy returns and go with hope you're back turning soon!

sorry to hear the news.

NO-O-O-O-OH! Katy, say it ain't so!

I am really sorry to hear about this. Hope you're not in too much pain, and that you recover very soon.

Since you probably can't teach at Copper for a little while, I'm saving a place for you on the staff of Keystone, when you get back on 'em.

Get well now!
Best regards,
Bob

Tsavo,

Bummer, but heyAC separation is not so bad. You don't need that joint and it'll just be sore for a bit but shouldn't last long or keep you off skis too long. You can just let it go and have a little bump or get it fixed and have a little scar. Ask me how I know?? Cowboy up and get back out there! Ye ha!!

best wishes

Got a voice mail from Katy this morning. Sounds like surgery in January after her heli trip and the holiday lesson season. Well, at least the heli trip is still on.

I'm sure she'll update you in more detail.

Get well Katy-I still have designs on you and a couple of other "ringers" helping me take the Pro/Lady event next season!!!! More important your friends want you back on skis where you belong.

Oh, geez... Thanks for letting us know, mikewil, but that stinks!

Get well, Katy!!!!!

And Katie managed to do a bit more damage on the heli trip but what the hell- it doesn't matter if your arm is hanging on by one thread or two.

She is accepting large donations of Vicodin (sp?) for Christmas!!!
