Tecnica Diablo Mg Hiperfit & Hotform Liner Size

I currently have a Tecnica size 27.0 Hiperfit boot but have the option to go with a Tecnica size 27.0 Hotform boot. I know the Hiperfit fits well, but for me to get the hotform boot, I'll need to buy it 'sight unseen' .

Can anyone tell me if a 27.0 Hotform liner, for example, is the same size as a 27.0 Hiperfit liner - or near enough?

Thanks in advance
Chris

I haven't skied them - only tried them in the shop. My experience was that there was a significant difference in fit between the two liner options. If it were me I wouldn't take the chance unless I could personally check the fit.

You just don't mess around when it comes to boots. They're too important.

The HiPerfit liner is the 'stock' liner for the Diablo magnesium...the Hot Form is the customizable option - it can be skied without being hot formed, but when you do hot form it (on the machine in the shop) it expands to fill space, similar to, but not exactly like, the old foam liners of yesteryear. The HiPerfit can be heat molded, but doesn't expand like the hot form does. A 270 liner is a 270 liner. The difference will be that the hot form liner will initially feel less snug until you hot form it. The best part is that it can be hot formed over and over so if the boot does pack out, you can just redo the liner.
