Has anyone ever tried Toes-ters boot warmers?

This looks like a very inexpensive boot heater (<$10 shipped), but I don't know if they are any good. Has anyone out there tried them?

I have no experience with this product. I visited the web site which is pretty sparse. I noticed that the max generated temperature is 90 deg. The Hotronics site shows that this is their LOW setting and their maximum temp. is 155 deg.

The Toes-ters product is obviously very economical, but it clearly would not be as helpful in exptreme cold as the admittedly much more expensive Hotronics.

thanks, RiDeC58. how thick are the Hotronics? the website says the Toe-sters are 6 mil, which seems pretty thick.

just to follow up, I ordered three pairs of the Toe-sters. at that price, with combined shipping, it was worth a shot. I'll report back after my daughter tries them out.

Toes-ters

Toesters worked well for me. In 2005 I bought a pair. I measured the temp and it got to 97 degrees and the temp held for a couple of hours. My wife gets cold feet and we wanted something we could recharge and reuse.

I ski and this year, I bought another pair and they were a new model. Temp got to 107 degrees.

I would still like them to get a little warmer, but they did work well and my wife still uses them and they are much cheaper than some of the other stuff. They are less than 1 mil thick (even though the box said 1 mil). You don't notice them when you ski or walk around.

I can find the Toes-ters on eBay, but haven't seen them anywhere else.

By 6 mil, do they mean 6mm or .006". Your right, 6mm would be rather thich, but .006" would be fairly thin. The connector wire looks a little thick, but for <$10 it's definetly worth a try.
