Just curious as to why no integrated get-up? Better load-up and kick out of a turn, or less weight? I'm curious because a ski shop "ruined" my new 181cm Recons when they drilled through the bases when mounting the bindings. That was last year's model and they don't have a non-integrated version to replace it. They kind of pissed me off when they told me they would only give me a 10% discount off their going rate on this year's more expensive integrated Recon and refund the highly discounted price I paid at the end of season sale, last year. I can't replace them without spending an extra $300.00. I suppose the skis can handle being stripped out and drilled through in such a manner without much effect on structure but I think they should offer to replace what I had without adding such a significant chunk of change. Maybe I'm a little picky but I would rather not start out by having my new skis tapped, stripped out, plugged, and violated, all on their first date. New skis are a rare occurence for me. I have some virgin 04/05 177cm 724 Pro's with the integrated, AT "gimmick" binding but am not sure I want to mount/deflower them if I don't plan to keep them. I don't know for sure how the skiability of the Recon will compare with that of the Pro. I'm afraid the Recon might be a little too soft and comfy, where the Pro might be a little short and rigid for flyin through Pow and crud. Not that I'm a big fan of crud. Crud happens. Comments...?
