I need a push. I've been reading reviews and posts here for days trying to make up my mind about which of these two skis to buy, so here gos.
I'm 60 years old, 5' 11", 200 lbs. solid advanced skier and I ski about 30+ days a year mostly at Sierra at Tahoe. My one ski quiver is the 3 (?) year old Volkl Vertigo Motion in a 177. (I probably bought this ski too short but it worked out just fine) I love this ski and have no complaint until the snow gets deep or manky. On good powder days of a foot or less I'm totally happy on these skis, ain't always like that. So I'm looking at the Mantra or Karma in a 184 and can't decide which. Let me add that I'm lazy. I don't want to spend my time in the parking lot switching skis with the changing snow conditions. (like we get maybe 2 hours of powder before its totally used up, two hours of crud and then its back to hard packed). I ski the whole mountain, bumps, trees, groomed, everything but the park, and want one ski that does it all. Mantra or Karma? Thanks in advance.
