At the mountain I ski at, the main chair goes right above one of the steeper slopes, so it easy to watch people coming down. Lots of skidders on new skis!
I kind of laugh to myself seeing these guys on their new Metrons (NOT a Metron knock) doing skidded turns with their knees together!
With all that said, I do my own share of skidding. There's times you can't avoid it-crowded slopes, low speed etc. But on a open slope it is great to carve!

Carved 360s arent that hard.

but if all you can do is carve your lost, and are really just a one- dimenisional skier
