The TV schedule on USSA for other stuff seems to be mostly in the "TBD" category so far....http://www.ussa.org/PublishingFolder/255_257.htm

I did a survey here last winter to find out who would be willing to pay extra for full-up WC coverage. Although the response was pretty good, even with the crowd here, it was far from unanimus. And since the people here are such a small percentage of the population, it boils down to the fact that there is no money to be made by the broadcasters for showing what we (the skiing fanatics) want.

I also contacted DirectTV about the possibility of offering niche sporting events on a PPV basis, and they (actually responded!) had no plans to offer anything like that.

My guess is that once bandwidth gets big enough that they can show just about anything, they'll start to offer stuff like that. Until then, I guess you'll need to get a West Virginia state flower (The 8 foot dish) in your back yard to get it.

Tina Maze! Kostelic and Paerson rounding out the podium. Koznick, Mancuso, Zahrobska scored points.

I'll watch it if it's on, but I won't make a point of watching it, the racing that is. I don't bother watching the mogul competitions and trick skiing.
