the "finish your turn" quote is indeed a great one. it really is a great way to explain finishing in neutral. i've remained out of the fray in the turn transition threads. seeking neutral or finishing in the same position that you started is the solution for me. i have long eschewed the idea of cross over or cross under as largely a compensitory move . in other words a movement necessitated by being late or early getting to neutral. can one argue this is a reality in ski racing? sure.
he will actually tell you he garnered that from working with the Mahre's at their camp at Keystone. phil and steve apparantly sought neutral in their race turns and race training.
