I have a couple pair of DIN 18 Markers..... I don't think they are overly difficult to come by.

I agree that most good bindings are good bindings. I still wouldn't ski on some of the sub $100 stuff. Interestingly, some of that cheap stuff IS really good. I'd ski a Salomon C509 any day of the week.
