Atomic AFT Adjustable Pole

Anyone have any beta on this ski pole? Its aluminum up top and carbon below.

I need another adjustable pole for touring.

(like I need a hole in my head.)

Use for alpine skiing this year. Didn't slip, even when towing a boarder friend on traverses. Nice.

slip isn't an issue, I know its a tight pole. but how did it stand up to a thrashing? I tend to bend poles pretty easily as I am an aggressive skier.

They got a pretty good workout although I didn't test them out with any epic yard-sales. Some cosmetic scratches on the poles, but otherwise fine. I don't think these poles would bend/dent easily. The lower section is a fairly solid composite and the alluminium top section is well clear of where I usually bend or dent poles.

However, if you like trashing poles, there are cheaper alternatives. :
