I started off thinking that I was not gonna buy anything this year so far I have bought...

Metron 10's These are for my son.
Metron 9's (I got a great deal here, I bought a single Metron on Ebay for $7.50 and I called warrenty at Atomic and picked up a used one for its mate).
06 Neox 412's Three pair of these..yep, three pair
Gyro Fuse For my son

So much for not buying anything.

I am sure there will be "more to come" as well. Why do I even tell myself that I won't buy anything.

And Scalce...Not much"

Let's see...
New, just purchased-
- 172cm Atomic M:11s with Neox 614 bindings
- 181cm Dynamic VR27 Geants with Race 614 Bindings
New, never got around to using last year-
- 160cm Fischer WC SCs with Marker Piston 1400s

Then again, I'm thinning the pack a little too-
- 190cm Volant Chubbs (my Slush Cup skis)
- 160cm Atomic BR 9.12s
- 178cm Dynastar Course 66s

That should leave me with:
- 178cm Fischer WC GSs
- 175cm Fischer WC RCs
- The Fischer WC SCs
- The Dynamic VR27s
- 155cm Atomic SL11s
- The Atomic M:11s
- and some 156cm Head iSLs I use as loaners.

After prepping and waxing them all recently, I may cut that list down a little more so I don't spend more time waxing than skiing.

Salomon Crossmax 10 boots in April - 400
Fischer RX9's - 600
Pass - 350
new powder skis - 150-200 (trying to find em cheap)

Sh!t eating grin on my face because ski season is fast approaching - priceless

Slow gear season for me so far and I hope to keep it that way since I bought 3 new pair last year and still have a pair of RX 8's in the plastic:

So far this year, it's been all about the kids:
-New K2 Fugativs for the youngest, along with new Lang boots.
-New Rossi boot for the oldest son

The wife's set. I may pick up new boots if I can find something that suits me.

They probably discussed the same BS when there was no snow.

actually it's because I can't afford new skis this year until I unload some current equipment, so the only way I could get new stuff is "charge it!" like Betty and Wilma, but I have no credit cards, so that's the funny part.

Didn't think so

...Until I found a pair of last year's Tecnica Alu Hotforms @ 60+% off and a pair of new '06 Metron B5 w/'06 Neox binding on Ebay for $810.00 shipped. I'm telling myself that selling the old Icons and the SX:11s will take some of the sting away from the MasterCard bill.

Barret-

Just looking through your list...
... the Omecarve 9 and the WC SL are very very very different skis. If you want an intermediate carver, check out the Dynastar. If you want a hard charging slalom ski, look at the Fischer. Its a little black and white. (the omecarve 10 or Race SC would be a transition ski in between)

So Phil, what is the pair of skis that you're "not" going to buy for yourself?
Add the following to my list:
Atomic SL9
Atomic ST7 for the wife

I couldn't resist the price.

I will keep the 9's down here with the 11's staying in Vermont. My PA set up will be Metron 9's (164, I know too short, but for $45.00 for the pair, who am I to argue), Neox 412's (last years from my M11's, I will put a pair of the 06's on my M11's) and my Old Flexons. I will leave the M11's, 06 Neox 412's and Kryptons in VT.
