I've been using the same Gummi stone for two years now. I do 30-50 days per year, and as advised by my ski tech, I check the edges every night and remove what burrs I can with the Gummi stone before waxing the bases. My question is that we don't have Gummi stones in New Zealand (I bought mine while living in CA) and I don't know what to do now that it has gone kinda black all over it. Do I carve off a small slice and carry on as before? Or??
