Every shop I talked to says the M:EX is better suited to Western skiing with wide open bowls, bigger longer radius turns and deeper snow. It does not have the radical sidecut of the M11 or B5. There was a glut of M:EX a few weeks ago, so this ski is either an albatross or they just made too many of them.
As far as AtomicMan, I've dealt with him, actually bought some racing skis from him and found him to be extremely knowledgeable and professional every step of the way.
