You have a right to your opinion and it might even have some validity for super strong skiers IMO. But taking on and attacking really good guys like HB and CR is just dumb and won't win you any friends. The CR and HB "boots on the snow" opinion has become quite respected around these parts. This is a good first step in backing away from the negativity. If CR has you on ignore that is a statement. Listen to it.
Still would like to see you start your own thread and lead the debate on your opinion. Your opinions would carry more weight in a thread you created. Many would welcome the debate I am sure.
Remember tho, a lot of these new ski's are designed to be ski'd super short. While I am sure you reject those models because of that and the terrain you ski beware - they just don't work properly in longer lengths for most skiers. A good example of this would be a 182 Volkl superspeed.....got world cup skills? You better or that ski will eat you alive. For example if you advised someone looking at a superspeed in 168 to get a 182 you could be not only giving bad advice but actually putting them in peril. Maybe not such a big deal with the big mountain new school ski's I dunno. I leave that discussion to HB CR Canyons and others. No reliable powder snow in these parts
Don't know how old you are, guessing about 20.
My rig in hs at age 14?
Head stds 7' look nevada's and orange lange flo's
I was 140lbs, couldn't turn em too good or flex the boots much...
but I was the fastest on the hill....
no contest and all smiles
bottom line....if your din 14 settings and new school longboards make you smile it is all good
just advise with caution people you don't know to use your same setup. I knew most of my buddies would have been in serious trouble on the setup I ski'd (heck I was living on the edge and knew it)...so all I did was smile....and keep my mouth shut
cmon post that thread
