After the anemic winter suffered last year by many of us, one might even say we are due. I certainly hope you're right slider.
I know this much, last fall I worried about there being enough snow, there was a certain anxiousness I felt about it, almost a panic, and I was praying for snow not really believing it would come. Needless to say it was slim to start, and hitting the 60s on the hill the week after MLKs B-Day, was tragic, then the slow motion trainwreck continued and very little snow came in February. I had a great year anyway, and got very good at dodgeing rocks and stumps, and turning on any little pile of loose snow.
This fall I feel relaxed about the prospective snow. I am just asking for an average snow year, and ya know, I get the feeling we'll be getting at least that much.
