I went to Gart Sports for their version of it this morning, the prices on skis weren't nearly as good as at the end of last season (a good thing really, I have plenty of skis), but I did buy a new pair of Alpine Design pants at 53% off regular price, which is $15 cheaper than they were last year on sale.

I hit Sniagrab this morning in Denver. There was a point last season when I was killing myself looking for a good deal on a pair of Volkl Superspeeds. Now at Sniagrab they're swimming in them in every size imaginable for about $550. Not a great price, but considering you couldn't even find them in the shops around the Denver metro...

And if you want some old Volants I was amazed at how many they had there. They even had a pair of Machete Truths which are pretty rare.

I work there, It sucks. THe only descent stuff was Volkl SUperspeeds with binders for 5 bills and a few six stars, pistols, pocket rockets, and goggles.

Ya know, one of the reasons I went to Gart's was that at the end of last season they had a really wide selection of Volant's ('04 and older), but there were MUCH fewer of them this fall, and I think it unlikely that they sold most of them off after I bought my Gravity Powers just before the end of the season sale ended in April. I think for some reason they didn't bust out all of what they have, but rather the ones they felt would be more in demand, including '04 Golds, Silvers, Gravity '71s, and 68s, '03 Machete Truth, and Sin, '03 Epic T3, and Gravity Epic.
