No more free parking at Tremblant

Yep no more free parking at all in Tremblant. During the week only the far away (like 2miles) shuttle lots will be free parking. On the weekend all parking lots will cost $6 per car.

Ya this will make the customers really want to keep skiing here. Pay $6 to park at a lot 2 miles away. Wait forty minutes for a shuttle to get you to the mtn. Then wait 40 minutes to get you back to your car. Waiting all the while in our very frigged Tremblant cold. ITW genious at work once again. :

Yep, sounds like they really don't want day-trippers cluttering up the runs, just rich fat-cats who can afford the lodging and leave a lot of $$$$ behind when they go back home.

. I ve skied Tremblant about 12 days total over a 4 yr period and had NICE weather and conditions about 3 days .

Skied Tremblant in some of the foggiest and coldest weather i 've ever experienced and i live in the Adirondack Mtns

Once the wind chill was -73 with 'death cookies' the size of VWs.
With this latest development and my general lack of satisfaction with Tremblant , e.g. havent skied it since '04 and probably won't bother to again

Funny thing, my low rent home resort tried to charge for parking for a couple of weeks last year. Not sure what happened with that.

That sucks since you only get two spots even if you rent a huge condo with 4 bedrooms and some of their "ski in ski out" is not really good for beginners or even intermediates in some cases.

I was not impressed with their shuttle service when I was there.

My first time at Tremblant, the fog was so thick you could only see about 2 ski lengths in front of you. Forget about using the trail map; just point 'em down. It wasn't until a couple of hours later that I was able to tell where I was on the hill. I still haven't found those fog-lights for my ski tips.
