Search Function Question

Thread Starter
I tried to search for "salomon course x2" a few minutes ago. It came back, repeatedly, with results for salomon, but said course and x2 were not able to be found.

I tried doing just course and just x2, with the same result.

AC or DC or anyone else, what gives?

Pretty much every search engine on the planet has a list of "stop words". These are things deemed too common or, somehow nonsensical enough, to be of any use in returning meaningful search results. For example, almost every post ever made will contain the words "the" and "to" - so in general, the engine does not even bother entering them into the index. Similarly, some engines ignore all numbers, all two letter words, etc. I don't know enough about the specifics of the site to comment any further, but this is the "big picture" view...

I wish there were a way to override it, like putting quotes around it ("K2") or something.
