Kids bindings - Salomon C509 v Marker M700

Any appreciable difference between these two? I've got both on different skis that my kids have outgrown. Will move one onto a new pair for next season, and sell the older skis - one flat, one with bindings - at local ski swap or eBay. Both are about 2 years old and appear in good condition; Marker was skied on 2 seasons, Salomon only 1 season.

Anyway my first thought was to keep the Salomon -- DIN goes slightly higher, and it's had less wear. But it looks a little more plastic and junky than the Marker, and if there's some appreciable advantage to the Marker, I don't think the DIN advantage is that significant because it's a lightweight kid (80 / 85 lb 12 y/o).

Salomon is more or less like this: http://www.untracked.com/highlight-174644.html

Marker is more or less like this: http://www.rei.com/product/47837293.htm

Thanks in advance for any info.

Bump. I know these are low end -- but is one much lower than the other?
