Head Gloves on sale at Costco

They're back, Head gloves at Costco for $14.99 which is a real bargain. This year they will be on sale for $11.99 from August 22 through August 28 (excluding Florida & Texas for some reason.) At that price you can't go wrong.

For this price, or even close for that matter, these are the best deal out there.

: I'm in Mexico for a couple of more weeks, and the Costco's down here won't be carrying them.

I have a perfectly serviceable pair of these gloves from a couple of years ago. At that price it's hard to resist getting another pair though. I guess it begs the question--how many back up pairs of gloves does anyone need? Surely one more pair than I have now

Suuuure..why not.

At least two pair of gloves, for sure, and I usually have a third "just in case". I have cut a pair of gloves (not these Heads!) on a burred ski edge...

Actually, I have a second and even third backup pair already. I guess I have trouble throwing out worn but still serviceable gear.

You just need a couple kids to lose them for you.

I've got the requisite two kids (19 and 17) but I think that I'm more likely to lose things than they are. I'm only 49 but have my share of senior moments.

Costco gloves

Not a very warm or water proof glove. I bought em last year. Spend the money on good googles and gloves. Pintch pennies else where.

I've been using the Costco Head gloves the past two seasons and they've worked out great. If its really cold I use my expensive gloves. If it 15 or warmer I use the Heads which has extended the life of my expensive gloves since the quickest way to ruin warm gloves is to sweat in them.

I need mittens if it is at all cold and I don't spend time falling in the snow, so I picked up a pair of Head gloves at Costco today (they finally made it to Canada). I used to wear a pair of full-bore leather cold-weather riding gloves when it was warm. They now worn out (too much roadrash caused them to wear a little faster ).

The Gloves seem ok, but one of the tags on them are a little confusing. It states that I can pour water into the "insert" and see steam rising but no water leaking out. The glove is one-piece; I see no "insert". It doesn't seem to me that an insert would fit in the gloves anyway.

Are these gloves supposed to come with an insert: .

I never noticed the tag, but they must be talking about the insert on the back of the glove. My kids use this slot to put their hand warmers in. Seems to work well.

No. They have a little picture of what looks like a glove. I think they mean the liner, or perhaps their liner is breathable and waterproof and they don't want you putting an inferior insert (like a glove inside a glove) inside it. In any event I'm pretty happy with what I got; it looks like it will work. I'm just curious.
