Damn........Dubya is really going to be pissed when he finds out that there's no pictures to be colored in any of those books!

By the way, I recommend the books on Bush's summer reading list. The PR people put together a good list.

Interestingly, Kurlansky (the author of Salt) and Barry (the author of Influenza) have been public critics of Bush.
I've read The Great Influenza - fascinating book - but I doubt it would be on GWB's bedside stand. I suppose he's reading that WHILE he's MTN biking??? - the spinmeisters strike again.

Someone going to administer the reading comprehension test on those books when he's back from vacation?

riddle me this, MTT:

if one critic points out that another's perspective is largely one filled with hate and premised on hate/fear,

does that mean the critic is a hater, or just a hater indicator?

Bush be rocking the single track wish i had it like that. When he gets back from vacation, forget about it!

This is a very, very funny thread!

I think it's great that Bush is mountain biking and meeting up with Lance Armstrong. It'll make a change for Bush to have someone around who's a real achiever.

And who can tell him what it was like to at least have had testicles.

Are you making fun of the only president to go through a term without vetoing a single bill?

Bush personally interviewed several potential Supreme Court nominees along with the eventual nominee, John Roberts. One of those interviewees reported later that the first thing Bush wanted to know was whether the guy worked out or not.

Sorry, but it's just too much for me. Two guys meeting for the first time. One guy asks the other, "Soooo..... Do you work out?"

Not that there's anything wrong with that....

That's quite the sweeping generalization there, sir...

Bill Clinton is more famous in Europe for his riding, rather than his running.

No secret service people - just Monica Lewinsky or a. n. other.

Kennedy was another enthusiastic and accomplished rider. Why did they change Cape Kennedy back to Cape Cannaveral again ? It seems a terrible snub.

Puuuhleaze, riding the Texas flatland is not mountain biking. He was probably riding on some dirt road that had barely any climb to it.

He WAS whistling show tunes and he WAS fabulous.

"Not that there's anything wrong with that...." Ha!

We did not know he was a rugby fab either.
