I ended up with both these jackets because I got really cheap off-season deals. However, I don't really need both of them. Obviously they are different jackets, as one is a softshell and one isn't. However, the Koven doesn't seem like a particularly heavy shell and the Sigma SV is said to be about as hearty a softshell as you can get.

I know it is an odd comparison, and I will probably just wait until the weather gets cold to try them out. However, if anyone has used either of these I would love some feedback. I will probably use the jacket mainly for skiing, and a little hiking. If the weather is very extreme I have other jackets to wear, but would use this as more of an everyday jacket on the slopes.
