An impossible question to answer, given that nobody has skied all of them.
I don't think there is an "overall" ski (mind you I haven't tried the metrons).
One person might prefer a ski that excels at SL, be very competent at GS, and survive at SG, but loos it at DH. Is it an overall ski if it can't handle DH speeds? Another ski can excel at SG, survive the DH, do well at SG, but be off the podium in SL. Can this be an "overall" ski, or does an overall ski have to be a good SL or bump ski?
For going fast on and off piste with steep long hills, I would pick my old Kästle National Team SG skis; they will do whatever you tell them to, do it hard, and do it NOW. However, perhaps that's only because I'm not into moguls, (they definately will give you a good burning feeling in the thighs after a long double black bump run) and performance at high speed is what makes me happy.
Maybe after couple more years stuck in Ontario, I'll have a true "overall" favourite; I'm just beginning to get into the short-turn skis.
