Bought it over 5 years ago, hardly use it. I'm in the Boston area, shipping would be a pain.

Make me an offer.

I have always thought about getting one of these. I have no idea what they are worth. I can pick up. What are you thinking money wise?

$400 ?

It's in excellent shape still quite white looking as are the poles.

what kind of platform and accesories come with it. I just took a look at the website and it just got me confused.

It has the classic two foot bed setup and the poles. It is like the Classic Parallel Carver on this page. http://www.skiersedge.com/product/classicseries.html

Still for sale, or trade for a treadmill.
I might pay close to that, I just can't figure how I can get up to Boston to get it.

Hey Phil, well I guess with some effort it could be shipped, not sure how. If noone who can pick it up contacts me, we should pursue that option. I'll try to weigh it and contact UPS on Monday.

I see a couple of these FS on ebay, one seller has $55 shipping the other $100 - so it seems they can be shipped. They sell for a lot more than $400. I will probably put this up soon on ebay. I'd rather give a bear a shot at it first if possible however.

Today only :)

I'm going to take pictures this evening and put it up on ebay tomorrow morning. The exact same model is up by another seller, current price $560 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ayphotohosting

So, as they say on Madison Avenue "Don't delay - act now!"

Mango,
If you want a nice treadmill, I'll trade you. I'd also have to figure out how to ship that thing too. I know it can be done, though. We originally bought it mail order.
If you are interested I'll take some pictures. It's damn near brand new. After I taught my dog to run on it, the novelty wore off.

True dat. If I had not had a buy it now and let people bid over it it would have been even more. There about 20 people bidding against each other on these things.

Now I gotta find a box big enough to ship it in!

But I bought it over 7 years ago (just found the receipt) for $645 including shipping, so why be too greedy

Jeez it sounds like Ski Trainers are better investments than stocks these days.

My Skiers Edge actually appreciated and I sold it for more then I paid on Ebay.

Some guy drove from NJ to pick it up.

Too bad the equipment does not live up to the hype.

Greed has just set in. I think that I'll be putting my Skier's Edge on eBay.

Be careful with your shipping cost promises. If you can find a good box for it that keeps the girth under 130" you can keep the price down. It's hard to find a big enough box, and Skier's Edge wants $120 ($45/box - $75/shipping) for an empty box, which I think you have to dissassemble it to fit in. I found a big enough box, Fedex Ground is much cheaper than UPS it seems too.)
Yes, the box is definitely an issue. I also have found that Fed Ex Ground is usually the least expensive. Before I list the machine I need to see what it would cost to get a box and packing materials from the local shipping store, or have them make a box to fit. They've been very reasonable for other items.

It was funny.

I had the boxes all ready to ship the stupid thing and this guy overbids against a few other people.

He emails me and asks if he can drive up and pick it up.

I was like hell yeah because the boxes and materials would have cost me a bunch.

The guy shows up early on a Saturday and I help him get it in his Rav 4.

He looks at me and asks, "So how much are these going for brand new anyway?"

Some people are dumb

I'm selling mine too. I believe it's an antique!

Anyone know where to get replacement poles? I don't want to use actual ski poles, since they don't have the rubber feet to protect my floor.
