Krypton liner replacement? - Page 3

Good luck.

What's the procedure for obtaining the updated liner?
I would try emailing customer service at dalbello.

To get an updated liner, just go back to the dealer you purchased them at and ask they will get them ordered. If you didn't buy them from a shop it might get a little more complicated.

I am not suppose to talk about this but I did have the next genertation of Dalbello Thermoflex liner on my foot last week. It will be manufactured by Intuiton. There are two models, gold and silver. The gold has a very firm feel even better than the Raichle race version which was very limited. The silver hs a great all around feel but still better than any of the old liners we had before. Pro's look out for a few of these liners to hit the slopes for test in the late winter( you might want to call them, Phil but tell anybody I told you). The product will be available for sale or in the boots next ski season 06-07

Oh yea I forgot this one, and maybe this got brought up in that previous out of control thread, but there will be a Tanner Hall signiture model intro this fall. The boot is a park and pipe cushy more affordable model with and interesting color scheme.

Thats all

Is that the "Rampage" model that is on the Dalbello pro form? they have the Pro, Cross and then a new "2006/2007 INTRO Krypton Rampage"

Anyone have any information on this?

My guess is that the Rampage is the Tanner Hall boot. I have lost my contact at Dalbello.

Thanks, Brian.

(and stop lurking...c'mon in..the waters fine)

Yes the Rampage is the Tanner Hall signature model. It is currently coming with a cushy liner with the fur look. It also has a reversed lower buckle to keep from ripping off on rails. The color is to say the least unique, kind of brown and sand. It will have it's place amoung the park and pipe crowd.

My buddy Phil keeps forgetting me here in Reno, Snowind Sports who stocks Dallebellos , Intuition liners (both models) and is an epic ski supporter and boot alignment specialist. What's a guy gotta do to get a little love around here????

Sorry, Bud.
Being a Dalbello dealer, I am sure I don't have to tell you which Brian I am reffering to. I was just filling some holes.

Reviving this old thread with new info...

Intuition is producing a new liner that is over 2cm taller (about an inch) and they are already on the boat from China (where they're manufactured). They should be available by the end of February (and I have dibs on the 1st pair!).

Note that these new tallers liners will be much less expensive than the new Dalbello/Intuition collaboration, but I'm told that they're essentially the same thing.
and the price is??????
Honestly I don't know the price and I haven't asked since my pair are still replacements for the originals that were too short (and screwed up the original shop that fit them).

Bump - I just received word today that the new taller Intuition liners are now on their way to me. Of course this is AFTER I already purchased the ZipFit liners for my Kryptons. Oh well, I guess it's good to have options...
So I received the updated liners today. They're about 1.5" taller than the original Alpine Power Wraps, but they're still the same thickness. So they're definitely tall enough now for Flexons and Kryptons.

I heated one up even though I was fairly sure there was no way it would fit in a Krypton/Flexon along with my foot, but I gave it a shot anyhow. Oh well, I was right - there was no way to buckle any of the buckles even on their loosest setting. I even increased the oven heat to 300 degrees to make the liner as soft as possible - I did get a little further, but there was still no way it was going to work.

So I'd have to say that as long as your shell doesn't provide a "plug" type of fit then you'll probably be fine with the Intuition liners. I have a 1 finger fit in my shells and I'm glad I found the ZipFit liner for my Kryptons.
