I tested a ski back in early march that was supposed to the a replacement for the crossmax. I forgot what it was, but i skied in a length around 170. It had a modified GS sidecut (15m - 16m) and GS ski feel. The construction was interesting, as the prolinks were actually beneath the topsheet and the pilot plate. It did not have the same feel as the crossmax 10 did when i tested that one. Much more edgehold and slightly livlier... still no Atomic race ski, but it wasnt a noodle. It felt like they could have put more beef into the tip and tail though. The swing weight was very light and only the center of the ski seemed to effect your turn, so hooking up the tips didnt happen on its own.
