I got the Z Race 150 last February, and got about 100+ days on them. My foot is a medium volume D/E width with a narrow heel, and it fits very well. I punched the 6th toe on each foot, added a tounge pad, and that was about it. It blows my old XT17s away, especially in lateral responce, and for me; fit. I first tried it at the Mammoth Trade Fair on a pair of Elan Ripsticks, and was just floored. A few runs later I took out the Diablo Race Pro on the same Sticks, and struggled with cramping feet, and stance issues due to the more aggressive ramp, and forward lean (much more than my old XTs). The Z race is quite a bit stiffer forward, than the Diablo, but not overly so (I'm 5' 7" 170lbs). A week or so after Trade Fair I got my own pair, and it's been love ever since. I have skied it in just about every possible snow condition, and it is the best boot (for me) that I have ever skied. I can even teach beginner lessons, and hike around it comfortably.
