This is a fantastic opportunity to live and breath the high life while making shed loads of CASH!!! It would help if you ski or board but it's not necessary as lessons can be arranged.
Bartenders in ski resorts : They live on cigarette smoke, they never ski, they never sleep.
WTFH, if you find those 2.4M$, PM me. I've got a bridge that may interest you.

I know the difference between London Bridge and Tower Bridge, unlike Robert P. McCulloch. (who paid roughly as much as I'm asking for!)

If this is such a good deal ("fantastic opportunity to make shed loads of CASH!!"), why do they have to advertise it on eBay?

It's probably because the fees for selling on ebay are less than those for using an estate agent.

According to the pic on EBay, they are not really selling a Bar, but rather a street lamp and some snow.

Where the fook is Meribel? If it's so big, how come a nimbus like me never heard of it?

I don't believe any serious real eatate buyers look on eBay, though. I'm referring to the US.

Bonni, do a search for Meribel, you'll find what your looking for. It's some little valley region, in some place called France. Something about 3 valley's... 375 miles of trails, 7000 + feet of vert. Get the idea???

See link below for info on Meribel, fav Brit spot in Three Valleys region of French Alps, a huge ski "circus". Not too far from Albertville, venue of recent French Winter Olympics.

fast cash?

If it comes with a "guarantee" regarding the profit line?

2.3M and not a penny more!

There used to be a scam (probably still is), among a few deli owners in town. They would "sell" the "business" and hold the paper on the property. When the new owner couldn't make the payments they would open up again cook the books and sell it all over again.

I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger served today.

Perhaps they agree to trade it with a Nigerian business opportunity (;->)

It's part of the 3 Valleys. In terms of pisted runs, put every resort in Colorado into one big area. That's about the size of it.

Personally, I hate it there. But its huge. 200 lifts, 260,000/hr. in three interconnected valleys.
Lots of skiers love it.

So, he has a busines selling hooch under the streetlamp?
Maybe it's hard to get a busines license there.

I remember you telling me this when we were in Vail. It's definitely on my skiing "To do" list.

The best part is, my wife loves to travel across the pond so it's a given at some point.

Actually, not true. The bartender where I am is the area record holder for vertical feet in a season, 4-5 million or so, two years running.

They claim they are selling the "business", not the building. I would assume that would be the name of the bar and maybe the barware. The guy's got 68 or so happy customers. Maybe he owned the business and was making more money by selling things on E-Bay.
