Thanks Tom, you read my thoughts perfectly.
Telerod, when I first proposed the race I knew TCS would never agree to put a substantial amount of his own money at risk because he knew the inferiority of his technique and the grave inaccuracies in his contentions about its superiority. I was proved right when he declined my challenge stating that a course that required turns put him at a disadvantage.
Bingo! My exact point, and here he was freely admitting it. He had humbled himself, the mission was complete, and I attempted to put the matter to bed at that time.
No such luck. TCS continued his arrogant and insultive posts, and you (telerod) and others called for the race to continue. Again, I speculated TCS would never place money at risk, even in a race format that he declared would give him a clear advantage, and I stated that speculation publicly in one of my posts.
When, at your prompting, Telerod, I proposed a specific race format, one that according to TCS favored him, he again, just as I had predicted, found a way to avoid sending in a check to Nolo. In my initial challenge TCS never indicated the $10,000 would be a problem, the only problem was the race format. When a format to his liking was suggested, with money involved, I got many "sounds good" responses. However, when push came to shove, and I indicated I was ready to send my check into Nolo, and his toes we're being held to the fire to do the same, all of a sudden even raising $1,000 became a major problem he didn't want to address. Bull...... Again, just as I had predicted, he found a way to slink away from the challenge.
So now, Telerod, it truly is time to put this nonsense to bed once and for all. I know you really wanted to see a race, but the point of the race has now been confirmed, twice
, and for the good of this forum we really must now exit this low grade intercourse and return to the standard of discussion Epicski is renowned for. As I said in my last post, we all should now close the book on this ugly chapter of Epicski history and return to our respectable roots. Again, I will reiterate what I said before; I will not be responding to any more of TCS's posts. And to expand on that even further, this is the last I'll have to say about the topic,,, period. I only responded at all because as a respected member of our community I felt Telerod deserved it. But now that's it.
And here's why:

This is what it's all about folks. It's up to us to police our own ranks and maintain the quality forum we've worked so hard to create. That's exactly what I intend to do. I hope you'll all join me.
