Another Jackson Hole Picture

I took this one just outside Teton Village this morning. It was a very pretty sunrise.

Jensen Canyon on the left, No Name Canyon in the middle, Pinedale Canyon just visible on the right. All of this is accessible out-of-bounds ski terrain from the tram during the winter.

Ahhhhh . . . .

Oh man, I can smell the sage and cottonwoods, feel the mist on my face while the sun slowly warms my back, and hear the distant caw of a raven surveying the scene.

Thanks Bob!

When are you all climbing Symmetry Spire?

Bob:

This dyed-in-the-wool New Englander says: Beautiful beyond belief! When the Navajos say: "walk in beauty," a pic like that tells you all you need to know about what they mean.

Thanks for sharing all that beauty. Almost more than I can stand sitting here working on a proposal.

Thanks to all of you for the compliments. Since no one seems to object, I'll post a few more pictures as the summer progresses.

Who knows? Maybe I'll start doing a "Farewell Tour" portfolio of pictures on the Jackson Hole aerial tram, now that it's slated for the scrap heap. :

Bob
SkierXman: yes, the new Rebel was responsible for that picture, as well as the ones from skiing this past Sunday.

Keep the photos coming, Bob. You did a great job with that photo! BTW, I have an EOS digital Rebel that I enjoy very much!
