Marker world cup piston plate extension

Hi all, what is the extension plate designed to do . I loved it on my P50s but now I want to try it with the extension arm on an all mountain ski .

its usually used on a speed or gs ski. its supposed to make it stiffer.

It helps to keep the tip in contact with the snow. The Volkl EXP used it and I believe it comes on next years AC3 w/POCS.

Max, the POCS is different than the world cup tuning arm. The world cup is used on racing skis not recreational skis. It can only be put on the world cup piston plate too.
