I bent a 5 Star by losing an edge on a low-angle groomer at Timberline. And by "bent", I don't mean "uneven base grind", I mean "shaped like a banana". The same weekend, a guy I know bent a G31. I know lots of people who have bent their Explosivs.

Volkls have lots of metal in them, and are therefore very easy to bend if you ram into a mogul or crash wrong.

I sent mine back for warranty and they replaced it, no questions. There was absolutely no damage to the ski other than the bend and it was well within the 1-year warranty period.
