Great Archiving Tool

Thread Starter
Inspired by the_eleven's request for archived health and fitness articles, I searched Google Desktop and came across an entire lits of archived epicski threads. You can also use the desktop to search your email and word documents.

Don't worry, WTFH. It only archives threads and web pages viewed from after you install it. LM's only had it on her pc for about a month. So most of the evidence is buried

Plus you can set it so that it doesn't save anything from those websites. If you know what I mean.

Ah, so that's why you haven't installed it either?
I find your posts in the "Jane Fonda Workout Forum" to be interesting...

How vulnerable is Google desktop tracking to external attack?

Online retailers already track my browser cookies to price 'customise' to their benefit.

Google is notorious for collecting information. There was a big scandal about Google Mail when it first came out, that they would be searching all your mail, in and out, for information to help them target ads to you. I don't know how that got resolved.

By giving you so much space they (and possibly the authorities) know that there will be years of back emails to search through, as you'll never have to delete things.
