Dynastar Legend Pro's- which length?

Hello all

I am about to get some Legend Pro's and was wondering which length to go for, 186 or 194???
I am 6'5 but not very heavy, around 185-190 pounds. My previous ski was the 185cm BanditXXX, loved them but ended up destroying them, never had a chance to demo anything longer... Getting more and more into skiing steep chutes and gullies, so perhaps 186 is better? as the 186 is wider than the 194, has it got same floatability?

Thanks

SB

I have the 186cm LP. I'm 6'2", 190 lbs, ski all terrain and fairly hard.

For the terrain you are talking about I'd stay at this length. The current model is 97mm wide but it turns very easily. A great ski. Do a SEARCH and see my comments on it.

As Jim S mentioned, the 186 and 194's are the same waist width now -- 97mm. Unless you ski at a big mountain type area and/or like going really, really fast and not turning a bunch, the 186 will be more than enough ski.

That's interesting, at Dynastar's web page they still give the 194 as 117-90-109 and the 186 as 124-97-116...
Thanks for your comments, I think i'll end up getting the 186

That confused me too. Their website is messed up.

Good choice!! That'll be plenty of ski for you at your size.
