RA40, I don't really mind that TCS doesn't communicate in accepted professional lingo. I'll dig through a unique presentation style if there's something of value to be found in it. The problem here is nothing of value exists. Case in point, this statement from his name calling response to you, his only feeble attempt to discuss technique in his entire post:
|I believe skiing began with flatboard, and still is the fundamental skill used by advanced DH skiers
Why of course, anyone can see the striking technical similarities between the video he offered of himself flatboarding and that of World Cup DH'ers.
: With such absurd statements he only reinforces the fact that he has little understanding of the technical foundations of advanced skiing, and therefore is not to be taken serious.
As Yuki says, we can all do what TCS is attempting to promote, but we chose not to because what he displays in his video is nothing more than a very poorly executed example of a limited scoped, low level technique. While all advanced skiers do have rotary assisted turning skills within their technical repertoire , they are much more refined and efficient than the crude, energy wasting examples displayed by TCS.
To be painfully blunt, his posts are just the ramblings of a self promotionist who lacks even a neophyte level of technical understanding of the sport. He's nothing but a con man who thrives on argument and conflict, so he comes here find on an endless supply of prey to feed his twisted hunger. Feed him if you must, but I suggest his comments are not worthy of serious response.
