Is there a forum as good as epicski for mountain biking? I love biking off trails as much as skiing but I'm a far worse cyclist than I'm a skier (which is not saying much). Thanks!

My apologies. I owe you a beer. Which do you prefer, Moose Drool or Flat Tire?

heh.

when I first started posting at MTBR.com, I used my full name Sean O'Neil. morphing into the cantankerous online provocateur that I became, I invited all sorts of hateful commentary from those who thought my provocations indicative of a true mean spirit and evil intent. the result was that someone complained enough to the sysops that they revoked me. by this time my then-girlfriend had named my then-current hardtail MTB as "gonzostrike" and that became my default handle.

about a year later, someone else corrupted the MTBR database and I was allowed to re-register as "gonzostrike" but only after someone else put up about 50 posts masquerading as "gonzostrike" -- that was pretty funny.

PS - ah forget the beer, it's got too many bubbles.

Is this the sign of things to come on EpicSki? I do like the way they use tabs on this forum. I don't like the way they plug other websites on the top of all the pages under the tabs. Talk about advertisement overload.

I think if you contribute, all that stuff goes away (not sure). I don't even notice it anymore.
