Any help appreciated!
1st things first, your camera most likely came with instructions, software and a patch cable. Read the instruction booklet, load software, if any, and follow whatever directions there may be to copy from the mini DVD to your computer. It may fall under a chapter title of "editing" your home movies---you have to get them onto your computer somehow in order to edit.
I know virtually nothing about the mini DVD cameras, but I suspect the operate like a DVD player to "play" the mini DVD so that you "play" into your computer by way of the patch cable. The idea is to capture (copy) the movie onto your hard drive.
I'm sure it is similar to copying tape into your hard drive---you do need some sort of transfer software---again it may have come with the camera.
Once you figure that part out---the rest is a matter of mastering whatever video editing software you use (may have come with the camera) to edit a clip to get rid of unwanted stuff.
Next PM dchan and ask to email him your clip for hosting!
