I was skiing over the weekend and broke my Look Nova 10 Maxplate at the point where the brake arm goes through the black plastic. It dosn't impair the binding function at all and it looks easily fixable. Do you think this is under warranty? I bought the skis and bindings from Cupolo Sports. Am I going to have to send it to them to get it fixed? Or can Look send me some kind of Maintinence voucher so my local shop will do it? Is this a repair I can do myself? It looks like you just remove three screws and replace the brake unit, but I'm not exactly known for my ski binding expertise. Any help would be appreciated. BTW, the binding is from 2001-2002 it's the solid silver/grey plate with orange accents.
