Thanks, everybody, as I get older the years keep flying by faster, which also means that winters are coming around quicker, so I’m not complaining. I had a good season this year, but then I can’t remember having a bad one, actually.

Ski forums, especially this one, are so much fun all year around and give us always something to look forward to, something to learn, something to debate and getting to know someone better.

As I got up this morning, hair uncombed, jaw drooping, heading for the computer to turn it on for the day, Ann gave me the ultimate compliment, she said “You know, you look like you have been married for 50 years, now go comb your hair!” . In three more weeks it will be our Golden Wedding anniversary and as much as I loved Sigi , Ann is my jewel and my great skiing and sailing buddy and gracious enough not to mind my memories of my youth, I know she has her own that she holds dear.

I’ll tip my manhattan on it’s LTE, rotate and pressure it and see what happens…

Cheers,,,,

Happy Birthday Ott, there may be some snow on the roof, but there's still a fire in the furnace.

Cirque - Thanks, I did miss that. Been too darn busy with work, today is my first visit in quite a while.

Ott - I have an Austrian girl, and I'm looking forward to my 50th with her, just another 25 years to go. Congratulations to the both of you.

If JFK could say, "Ich bin ein Berliner!"; and Carter could say, "Ich bin ein Frankforter!" (meaning hot dog); may any of us truly say, "Ich bin ein Otter!" . . . which means, of course, "Hey! Look! I can Wedel!" Happy Birthday, friend. Favor us with many, many more - and now. . . that Manhatten . . . and another experience with Sigi! Please?

Thanks folks, 78 is treating me well, nothing hurts when I get up and I don't need to take any pills, knock on wood. I skied all winter without any mishaps until our carnival weekend where I was taking videos of skiers and snowboarders skimming the 75 foot slush cup and a skier turned into me after coming across and took a nickle size chunk our of me shin which hasn't healed completely after six weeks. Go figer.

Though I haven't participated in the forum by posting, I read it a lot.
