Does anyone have any old ones laying around that they want to sell.

Hi Phil. I've got a pair of the SPD-SL road pedals, model PD-R600 collecting dust under my bed. Let me know if you can use them.

Are they one or two sided? I need some 2 sided ones.

Phil, it sounds like you are looking for mountain bike pedals? The ones I've got are only good for the road.

I think I might have some shimano 747's lying around somewhere......They are more of a racing pedal...not much platform....let me know if you are interested.....They are certainly USED...but work fine.

747's are fine. How much? I don't need cleats, I have a couple of pair from my last bike.

If I can't find any cheap used Shimano's there are some VP's on Ebay..I have used them in the past and I am happy with the performance.

How much time do you have on the ebay deal?

How about $5 a foot....(to cover shipping)

Phil -

If those don't work out I have an extra pair of PD-M515s. I'd be willing to work out a trade but I don't need any Flexon parts.

Thanks all, but Shen is coming through in the clutch.

Phil, this is Epicski, not Epicbike . Ride carefully now, rock and gravel is a lot less forgiving than snow! (OTOH, I road bike and I have to admit that cars aren't very forgiving either). Maybe I'll see ya next winter. Lew

Phil-
Get some eggbeaters, much better than any spd pedal, the spds always fill with dirt and don't release when you need them to.
